A month of posts. One upload.
Upload a CSV or Excel file with all your posts, map the columns in three steps, preview the first rows before confirming, and LigiComms schedules everything at once — with media validation run in parallel so nothing gets missed.
The three-step wizard
- Upload. Drag in a CSV or XLSX file. Download the XLSX template from the Bulk Schedule page if you are starting fresh — it includes column headers and example rows so you know exactly what format is expected.
- Map columns. The wizard reads your file's headers and auto-matches common names (content, caption, date, channel, hashtags, media). Anything it can't match automatically appears as a dropdown so you can assign it manually. You only need to do this once — the mapping is remembered for your next upload.
- Preview and confirm. See the first ten rows parsed as real posts — content, channel, date, hashtags and media thumbnail. Fix any issues in your file, re-upload, or confirm and create all posts at once.
What you can include in the file
| Column | What it contains | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Content / Caption | The post body text | Yes |
| Channel | The channel name (e.g. Instagram, Facebook) | Yes |
| Scheduled date & time | ISO 8601 or common date formats | Yes |
| Hashtags | Space or comma-separated | No |
| Media URL | A publicly accessible image or video URL | No |
| Title | For video posts that accept a title | No |
Media validation runs before any post is created
If your file references media URLs, LigiComms validates each one before confirming the import — checking that the URL is reachable and returns the right content type. Validation runs across all URLs in parallel so even a large batch completes quickly. Any URL that fails is flagged in the preview step, so you can fix it before a single post is created.
Plan limits and overrides
Bulk scheduling is entitlement-gated — the maximum number of rows per upload is set by your plan and can be adjusted per account by the platform team. If you need to schedule more posts than your plan's row limit allows, contact support to request an override.
Bulk scheduling creates posts in the Scheduled status. Posts go through the same publish pipeline as any other scheduled post — the scheduler picks them up within 60 seconds of their slot, and the same missed-post and retry rules apply.
When to use it
- Planning a content month — write all posts in a spreadsheet, bulk-upload once, and you're done for the month.
- Migrating from another tool — export your scheduled posts from your old tool, reformat, and import into LigiComms.
- Campaign launches — pre-load a product launch sequence across multiple channels at exact times without clicking through the compose box dozens of times.
- Agencies managing multiple clients — prepare a client's full month of content offline, have it approved, then upload once.
